Application

Before centrifugation, the tubes should be gently inverted 6–8 times to ensure proper mixing of the sodium citrate anticoagulant with the blood sample. Recommended centrifugation parameters are 4000 rpm for 5 minutes. During centrifugation, the thixotropic gel forms a stable barrier between the plasma and cellular blood components. This prevents contamination with red blood cells and supports the collection of platelet-rich plasma with optimal therapeutic properties.

Duration of Effect

Initial improvements following a PRP treatment may become visible within approximately one week, while full results are typically observed after four weeks.
